About us
Who we are
CBproject was founded in September 2021, when two first-year students of a technical high school in Katowice joined the “Mini-enterprise for Teens” programme. Instead of opening a small online shop like most participants, they set out to build a real invention — a bottle able to both cool and heat liquids, later named CBkelvin. What started as a school project quickly grew into a team of young inventors turning ideas into working products.
Awards & recognition
Our work has been recognised at some of Europe's most prestigious invention fairs. CBkelvin won silver medals at both Concours Lépine 2023 in Paris and INTARG 2023 in Katowice, which also led to a feature on TVP3 Katowice television.
In 2026 our project ThU reached its MVP and was awarded a gold medal at INTARG 2026, together with the prestigious WIPO Award for innovation. Earlier inventions such as the CBmahlo eco-heater brought further successes, including a place in the e(x)plory finals and the main prize of the “Youth of the Future” contest.
Where we're heading
We are not ones to rest on past results. Our team keeps developing new projects — from software to everyday physical products — driven by the same curiosity that started it all. We won't stop until every one of our ideas becomes reality. Follow us to see what we build next.

September 2021
The creation of CBproject
Two students of the Technical High School of Aviation in Katowice entered the contest together. The inventors’ group came out of it.
October 2021
CBkelvin prototyping
The first working prototype of the CBkelvin bottle is built.
May 2023
CBkelvin debuts at Europe’s major invention fairs
Two fairs — one in Paris, one in Katowice — gave the team its first public audience. Both awarded CBkelvin a silver medal.
June 2023
CBmahlo: the ECO-heater
Over the summer holidays, work on heat exchange in thermoelectric elements led the team to a compact, low-consumption heater.
October 2023
First TV interview
After the medals and a round of refinements to CBkelvin, the team was invited onto TVP3 Katowice.
May 2026
Gold medal and WIPO Award for ThU
Project ThU reaches its MVP and wins a gold medal at INTARG 2026 in Katowice, along with the prestigious WIPO Award for innovation.
